Terms
The agreement between you and Waggle Software when you use Waggle, in plain English.
Last updated: 3 November 2026
1. Who you're dealing with
Waggle is made by Waggle Software, a trading name of Springboard Marketing & Communications Limited (company number 08471484), The Old Police Station, 82 High Street, Golborne, Warrington, England, WA3 3DA ("we"). Purchases are sold by our reseller Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for your order, and Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your payment.
2. The free trial
You can use every bee free for 14 days on each Mac. After that, Waggle lets you read but not send until you buy a licence.
3. Your licence
- Buying gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Waggle on up to 3 Macs you own or control, plus 3 more for each Extra Macs add-on you pay for.
- Worker Bee covers every account of the one service you chose; Whole Hive covers every service, including ones we add later. Web bees are included with any purchase.
- Your licence includes updates to the version you bought. We may charge for major new versions in future; your version keeps working.
- Please don't share your licence key, resell it, or try to get around the licence or trial checks.
4. The Waggle Relay
Settings sync, iMessage on another Mac and licence checks use the Waggle Relay, our online service. It's included for 12 months from purchase, then renews at £5 a year if you want to keep sync and iMessage sharing. We aim to keep it running all the time but can't promise it will never be interrupted. If we ever close the Relay, we'll give at least 90 days' notice and release an update so your licence keeps working without it.
5. Other services
Waggle works alongside services run by other companies, such as WhatsApp, Slack, Google, Microsoft, Telegram and Apple. Your use of each one is under that company's own terms. Some connections, including WhatsApp and Slack, don't use an official public API: the company could change or block them at any time, and using them may not be allowed by that company's terms. We'll do our best to keep each bee working, but we can't guarantee any service stays available in Waggle. Waggle is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these companies.
Work accounts must be used only as your organisation allows. Waggle never gets around an organisation's security settings, and you shouldn't try to.
6. AI features
AI replies and AI bees send the conversation you choose to the AI provider you set up, with your own key and under that provider's terms and charges. Check AI drafts before you send them; you're responsible for what you send.
7. Our responsibility to you
If you're a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to digital content that is faulty or not as described, and nothing in these terms affects them. We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable, for loss caused by other companies' services, or for business losses. Nothing limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
8. Changes and ending
We may update these terms as Waggle changes; we'll show the date at the top and, for important changes, tell licence holders by email. You can stop using Waggle at any time. We can end your licence if you seriously break these terms, for example by sharing your key publicly.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
